If you want the perfect mix of lakes and fairways, Alexandria has been seen as the hidden gem of Minnesota. When people go to Brainerd/Nisswa/Crosslake, they have to compete with extremely high greens fees, saturated tee times, and slow courses. Not to mention, the lakes (though nice...) are often crowded and not a good mix for fishing. Alexandria has been able to create a brand that has a diverse array of courses, fairly priced greens fees and assorted tee times, all with a community feel. We pride ourselves in the premium golf experience, without pushing a false, uppity atmosphere. We have courses for all levels of golfing experience. Here is a list of our courses. Being a life-long golfer, I'd recommend Alexandria Golf Club and Geneva Golf Club for the more experienced golfers. If you're here for a stay, try out Atikwa Golf Club at Arrowwood Resort. The other courses are well kept and provide a quality golf experience for the novice golfer and/or family looking to swing some clubs.
